About our privacy policy

Worktrainer cares a lot about your privacy. We therefore only process data we need for (the improvement of) our services and handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes. This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services provided by Worktrainer. The effective date for the validity of these terms is 24/10/2022, with the publication of a new version, the validity of all previous versions expires. This privacy policy describes what information about you is collected by us, what this information is used for, and with whom and under what conditions, if any, this information may be shared with third parties. We also explain to you how we store your data and how we protect your data from misuse and what rights you have in relation to the personal data you provide to us. Your privacy is of great importance to Worktrainer. We therefore adhere to the privacy law. This means that your details are safe with us and that we always use them properly. In this privacy statement, we explain all the things we do at Worktrainer with information we learn about you. Webshop software

CCVshop
Our online store is developed with software from CCVshop. Personal data that you make available to us for our services are shared with this party. CCVshop has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purpose. CCVshop is obliged by the agreement we have with them to take appropriate security measures. These security measures include the use of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. CCVshop uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software, no personal data is collected and/or stored. CCVshop reserves the right to share collected data within its own group to further improve services.

Web hosting

CCVshop
We purchase web hosting and e-mail services from CCVshop. CCVshop processes personal information on our behalf and does not use your information for its own purposes. However, this party may collect metadata about the use of the services. These are not personal data. CCVshop has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. CCVshop is bound to secrecy under the agreement.

E-mail and mailing lists

MailChimp
We send our email newsletters using MailChimp. MailChimp will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the bottom of every email sent automatically through our website, you will see the 'unsubscribe' link. You will then no longer receive our newsletter. Your personal data is stored securely by MailChimp. MailChimp uses cookies and other internet technologies that provide insight into whether emails are opened and read. MailChimp reserves the right to use your data for the further improvement of its services and to share information with third parties in connection therewith.

Office365
We use the services of Office365 for our regular business e-mail traffic. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent abuse, loss and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Office365 does not have access to our mailbox and we treat all our email traffic confidentially.

Payment processors

Klarna
For handling (part of) the payments in our online store we use the platform of Klarna. Klarna processes your name, address and residence details and your payment information such as your bank account or credit card number. Klarna has appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Klarna reserves the right to use your data to further improve services and in this context (anonymized) data to share with third parties. In the case of a request for a deferred payment (credit facility) Klarna shares personal data and information regarding your financial position with credit rating agencies. All of the above guarantees regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to those parts of Klarna's service for which they engage third parties. Klarna will not retain your data longer than permitted under the statutory periods.

Shipping and logistics

DHL
When you place an order with us, our job is to get your package delivered to you. We use the services of DHL to make the deliveries. It is therefore necessary that we share your name, address and place of residence data with DHL. DHL only uses this data for the purpose of executing the contract. In the event that DHL engages subcontractors, DHL also makes your data available to these parties.

DPD
When you place an order with us, our job is to get your package delivered to you. We use the services of DPD to carry out the deliveries. It is therefore necessary that we share your name, address and place of residence data with DPD. DPD only uses these data for the purpose of executing the agreement. In the event that DPD engages subcontractors, DPD will also make your data available to these parties.

Invoicing and accounting

We sell (some of) our items through Amazon's platform. If you place an order through this platform, Amazon shares your order and personal data with us. We use this data to process your order. We treat your data confidentially and have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorized use.

Purpose of data processing

General purpose of processing
We use your data exclusively for the purpose of providing our services. That is, the purpose of processing is always directly related to the order you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us and we use this data - other than at your request - to contact you at a later time, we will ask you explicit permission to do so. Your data will not be shared with third parties other than to meet accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound to confidentiality by virtue of the agreement between them and us or an oath or legal obligation.

Automatically collected data
Data automatically collected by our website are processed for the purpose of further improving our services. This data (e.g. your IP address, web browser and operating system) is not personal data. Cooperation with fiscal and criminal investigations. In appropriate cases, Worktrainer may be required by law to share your data in connection with governmental fiscal or criminal investigations. In such a case we are forced to share your data, but we will resist within the possibilities offered by law.

Retention periods
We will retain your information for as long as you are our client. This means that we will keep your client profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you indicate this to us, we will also interpret this as a forgetting request. We are required by applicable administrative requirements to retain invoices containing your (personal) data, so we will retain this data for the duration of the applicable term. However, employees no longer have access to your client profile and documents we have produced as a result of your assignment.

Your rights

Pursuant to applicable Dutch and European legislation, as a data subject you have certain rights with respect to personal data processed by us or on our behalf. We explain below which rights these are and how you can invoke these rights. In principle, to prevent misuse, we only send copies and transcripts of your data to your e-mail address already known to us. In the event that you wish to receive the data at a different e-mail address or by post, for example, we will ask you to identify yourself. We keep records of processed requests, in the case of a forgetting request we administer anonymized data. You will receive all transcripts and copies of data in the machine-readable data format we use within our systems. You have the right at any time to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Authority if you suspect that we are using your personal data incorrectly.

If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation that the data has been adjusted at the e-mail address known to us.

You always have the right to limit the data we process (or have processed) that relates to your person or can be traced back to you. You can make a request to this effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation at the e-mail address known to us that the data will no longer be processed until you cancel the restriction.

Right to transferability
You always have the right to have the data we process (or have processed) that relates to your person or can be traced back to you by another party. You can make a request to this effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you, at the e-mail address known to us, copies or transcripts of all data about you that we have processed or have processed on our behalf by other processors or third parties. In all likelihood, we will no longer be able to continue providing services in such a case, because the secure interconnection of data files can then no longer be guaranteed.

Right to object and other rights
You have the right to object, in appropriate cases, to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of Worktrainer. If you object, we will immediately stop the data processing pending the handling of your objection. If your objection is well-founded, we will make copies and/or copies of the data we process (or have processed) available to you and thereafter stop the processing permanently. Worktrainer uses cookies. Cookies are small files where we can store information so you don't have to fill it in every time. But they also allow us to see that you are visiting us again. When you visit our web store for the first time, we show a message explaining cookies. Here we will ask for your agreement to the use of these cookies. You can disable cookies through your browser, but some things from our web store will then no longer work properly.

Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to track how visitors use our online store. We have a processing agreement with Google. This contains strict agreements about what they are allowed to track. We allow Google to use the obtained Analytics information for other Google services. We do not allow Google to anonymize IP addresses.

Through our website, cookies are placed by the U.S. company Google, as part of the "Analytics" service. We use this service to track and get reports on how visitors use the website. This processor may be required by applicable laws and regulations to provide access to this data. We collect information about your browsing habits and share this data with Google. Google can interpret this information in conjunction with other data sets and thus track your movements on the Internet. We reserve the right to change our privacy policy at any time. However, you will always find the most recent version on this page. If the new privacy policy affects how we process data already collected about you, we will notify you by email.
 
Order fulfillment

Data you enter when placing an order or sending a message are processed by CCVshop. CCVshop ensures a security level appropriate to the data to be processed and takes adequate measures to protect data against loss or any form of unlawful processing. For example, a secure SSL connection is used by default.

When you place an order with us, we use your personal data to handle it properly. We may give your personal data to our delivery service to deliver the order to you. We also receive information about your payment from your bank or credit card company.
For this we use your payment information, name and address, e-mail address, telephone number and billing address. We are required to do this by law. We keep this information until your order is completed and for seven years thereafter (this is the legal retention obligation).
Statistics and profiling

We keep statistics on the use of our web store. With these statistics, we improve our web store to show only relevant information, for example. We can combine your personal data to learn more about you. Of course we will respect your privacy at all times. If you do not want this, you can always notify us.
For this we use your name and address. We do this based on your permission. We save this information for six weeks.

Contact Form and Newsletter

With the contact form you can ask us questions or make requests. For this we use your phone number and name and address. We do this based on your consent. We keep this information until we are sure you are satisfied with our response.
You can subscribe to our newsletter. It contains news, tips and information about our products and services. You can cancel this subscription at any time. Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link. Through your account you can also unsubscribe. You can also unsubscribe via the portal. Your e-mail address will only be added to the list of subscribers with your permission. This data will be kept until you cancel the subscription.

Your account

Certain areas of our web store require you to register first. You must then provide information about yourself and choose a username. With that we will create an account, where you can log in with that username and a self-chosen password. For this purpose we use your name, telephone number, e-mail address and billing address. We need these because of your current order. We keep this information until you cancel the account. Under no circumstances do we give your personal data to other companies or institutions, except if we are legally obliged to do so (for example, if the police demand it in case of suspected crime). Our web store contains social media buttons. With these, the operators of these services collect your personal data.

Evaluation / review

60 days after ordering, you will receive an email from Worktrainer asking you to review the product. The e-mail will contain hyperlinks to the products purchased on our website. If desired, you can leave a review. Reviews are placed without approval of Worktrainer. If you wish to edit or remove the review after it has been posted, please contact Worktrainer.

Security

Personal data security is of great importance to us. To protect your privacy, we take the following measures:
