For a long time, desks were sold as a complete functional set. The desktop was fixed to the frame, and that was it. Whether it actually matched our needs and interior didn’t matter much. How different is that now? Frames and desktops are increasingly offered separately, allowing you to create a desk that perfectly suits you.

All our desktops are 2.5 cm thick (black is 2.2 cm) and can be used on both sides. They have a melamine top layer, are low-maintenance, very durable, and feature an ABS edge band. With proper care, they will last for years – even with intensive daily use. Special requests, such as a cut-out for a power strip, are also possible.

A custom desktop: What dimensions do you need?
Our smallest rectangular desktop is 60 x 40 cm, our largest 200 x 100 cm. In addition to popular standard sizes, our customers often look for special dimensions, such as 300 x 80, 150 x 75, 220 x 80 or 240 x 80. You can also order popular sizes like 100 cm wide. In addition, sufficient space under the desk is essential: the first 80 cm of depth must provide at least 12 cm of free space for feet. This ensures an ergonomic, safe, and comfortable workspace, tailored to the average European user.

Many of our desktops are available directly from stock. This means you’ll receive your order quickly, so you can immediately start setting up your workspace. Note: with a long desktop this construction may be unstable. In that case, place a third trestle under the middle of the top.

Desktop complies with NEN EN 527 standards
Our desktops from 120 x 80 cm upwards comply with the NEN EN 527 standard, which describes requirements for safety, strength, and durability of office desks. The standard also provides recommendations for dimensions: a minimum depth of 80 cm, a minimum width of 120 cm (160 cm recommended), and a (nearly) straight front edge of at least 65 cm wide.
